Emission Monitoring Service, Inc. employees achieve the highest safety goals through training, education, and commitment. All employees participate in initial refresher and ongoing training classes. In addition to weekly safety meetings given by our Safety Director Gary Lowry, all employees are included in Medical Surveillance programs such as Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Incident Reporting and Industrial Hygiene monitoring. Each employee is trained in every aspect of safety for his/her job. From permitting and Emergency Preparedness to Fall Protection and PPE, EMSI employees' are well prepared for the hazards of the industrial environment. As a result, EMSI has had only one recordable incident in 15 years, and has maintained an experience modification rate of less than one (<. 1) for five consecutive years. EMSI employees have consistently earned safety awards for their performance and are proud of their accomplishments.
